Biography
Music Producer | Audio Engineer (Mixing & Mastering, Live Sound) | Composer | Songwriter | Singer | Self-Taught Tech Enthusiast (Home Lab & Self-Hosting)
I’m originally from Ghazni province and grew up in Barchi, Kabul, Afghanistan—a place that deeply influenced my connection to music and culture.
I began making and producing music in 2014, and my professional journey started around 2016–2017 when I launched my own music production studio “Yaran Studio” in Barchi, Kabul, Afghanistan.
After the Taliban returned to power in Afghanistan on August 15, 2021, I immigrated to Italy just 11 days later (August 26, 2021). Starting from zero again, I used this opportunity to enhance and expand my skills in music production—including arrangements, mixing & mastering, songwriting, and composition—as well as in digital platforms and tech systems.
I dove deep into self-hosting and home-lab technologies, working with tools and platforms like DNS management, web app scripting/customizing, Jellyfin, TrueNAS, Technitium DNS, pfSense/opnSense, Nextcloud, and multi-PC audio processing (DIY DSP & hybrid audio design).
My creative focus is to fuse traditional Afghan and Hazaragi music with modern global genres such as EDM, Trap, Dubstep, Afrobeat, Funk, and Phonk.
Over time, this lack of recognition led me to shift more of my focus toward singing.
I don’t consider myself a technically perfect singer, but I do have ideas—creative visions and emotional instincts—that I believe can truly connect with the hearts of people across Afghanistan and even around the world.
This isn’t just a dream—it’s a goal I’m actively working toward.
Songs like “Awal Az Khuda”, “Didah”, and “Mah-e Taban” mark the beginning of this journey—songs that come not just from voice, but from purpose.
